Notes 18th Feburary 2009 Previous minutes - Minutes of meeting of 26th November 2008 taken as circulated and read were approved. Business Arising from previous minutes:- 1. Newsletter - it was agreed that Nicky arrange for the printing of 200 copies of the newsletter. If the cost exceeds$100 to discuss with David. 2. Media Centre - Bernard had the media centre on display for the meeting. An application has been submitted to Bendigo Community Bank for $2,400 to sponsor the Media Centre. It is proposed to have the display available for Warragul Show on 6th and 7th March. Bernard to arrange. 3. History heritage Tour with Keith Cook - The tour is expected to be arranged at a time suitable to Keith. Treasurer's Report - Bernard The receipts and accounts as presented were approved and passed for payment. (Bernard/Rob.) Correspondence- 1. Heritage Grant application. Advice has been received that the applications for funding have been approved. $6,700 for the waking track and $13,000 for the Crossover Rail Bridge Restoration project - bridge inspection report. General Business 1. Baw Baw Shire Bernard advised that Council have provided funding for Community Group Administration Funding for the current year. 2. Eugene Dimitriadis advised that he is moving to Queensland. Thanks were expressed to Eugene for his commitment and work with the Group 3. Publicity Letter to Warragul Gazette Nicky was asked to work with Mary in preparing an update for the Warragul Gazette. Next Meeting - 1 April 2009. Meeting closed at 9.41 pm. |
