Dates for 2010 meetings. Wednesday nights at 7.30pm on: February 10th, March 24th, May 19th, July 14th, September 15th, November 17 th.                Notes 23th November 2009 (meeting preceded by annual meeting) GENERAL BUSINESS 1) Interpretative signage: Bernard presented draft copies of the signs to be placed along the walking track. Signs yet to be approved by Heritage Vict. But this should happen in the next few weeks. 2) Bridge update: David reported that there have been delays in getting the track under the bridge formed due to weather and flooding. The track is now scheduled for early Jan.2010 and the engineers report will be done soon after (hopefully Feb.) 3) Volunteer Baw Baw: An application for funding of $5000.00 on behalf of V.B.B. was discussed and approved. (Mapo/Rob) 4) Funds rollover: As we do not have to spend it at present our investment funds will be rolled over for another term in January 2010.(Ian/Nicki) 5) The gathering passed a motion for the executive to approve the payment of accounts as they become payable. I.E. track contractors, bridge engineer, signage printing ect. 6) Neerim Show: The group discussed and decided we should be involved. We will be going, but, downsizing from previous years. 7) A suggestion was received to change the name of the track to recognise it as a "Rail Trail". David will follow this up for next meeting. 8) Ian spoke of the track south of Rokeby and the difficulty of maintenance particularly during the winter months. David will follow up with Carolyn Ferguson for the next meeting. 9) Discussion about the installation of seating along the track was deferred till next meeting. 10) Meetings next year will be held evenly between Rokeby and Crossover halls.
